Private lessons for kids 5 & up.   We also offer beginner Adult & Senior beginner Ukulele classes upon request.

Why Uke? Because it's the perfect size for children and it's FUN. Skills learned in class strengthen musical aptitude and are easily transferable if they choose to pick up another instrument later.  

This class introduces kids to the Ukulele in a setting that is supportive and relaxed. Depending on the child, classes may involve singing, games, and even some drumming  - we gear our classes to the individual. Students will strengthen rhythmic skills and pitch recognition as they learn to tune and sing along with their instrument.  

Once the student is ready they will also learn to read music notation (treble clef), work on ensemble skills, and learn basic music theory.  

You'll learn songs you can play and sing along to at your very first class for a feeling of accomplishment.  

Small-Group Classes: Group classes can be arranged for older students or adults.  We recommend a group class of just 2 to 4 students but larger classes can be arranged upon request.
